My recommendation

If you go to Cape Town, you have to see one of its iconic landmarks: the famous Table Mountain. This incredible flat-topped mountain is visible from all over the city and is a true landmark, as well as a highly recommended excursion. You'll see Cape Town from above, observing its bays, streets, and neighborhoods like you won't be able to see them any other way. There are two ways to get there: hiking (it's a long and steep path) or taking the cable car, which is the one I recommend most. In just a few minutes, you're at the top, and since the cable car rotates slowly, you'll be appreciating the scenery from the very first moment. It's always advisable to buy your cable car tickets in advance to save time and avoid long waits.
